My aim is to help develop and inspire others. Working on a 1 to 1 basis, I will make sure to tailor my lessons to your needs and help you gain the ability and confidence you desire. I understand the importance of passion and drive. I aim to help anyone at any age whether you want to pursue music as a hobby or professionally. Singing: During our singing lessons I will teach you the necessities for developing and looking after your voice. Learning through specific exercises and working with the songs that you are passionate about. We will focus on enhancing the style of singing that you are interested in whether that's pop/rock/soul/musical theatre or classical. I also highly encourage development of your own artistic style and can help you with any songwriting/composition that you might be struggling with. I can also provide knowledge and practice of the equipment used for gigs such as: mic techniques and adding different effects onto your vocals. I like to make sure that my students feel confident whilst singing whether they are singing as a hobby or aspiring to be professional singers. Piano: I teach my students the importance of the right technique and posture. You will learn to sight read as well as play by the ear. In a fun and relaxed atmosphere you will learn the ins and outs of music theory such as: notation, key signatures, rhythm, dynamics, melody and articulation. I will make sure to find suitable exercises to strengthen your playing and to prepare you for more challenging pieces ahead. However my most important mission whilst teaching piano is something that most teachers overlook and that is to encourage passion right from the beginning in a no-pressure environment. I follow the current exam boards such as ABRSM and Trinity College London.
