I graduated from university two years ago with a First Class degree in Mathematics. As you will see from my attached resume I have several years of experience tutoring GCSE and above students in the build up to exams. This required me to plan lessons, set student goals, and adapt to the individual needs of my students. I adapt work and learning to different levels and abilities, and give a tailored experience to each student, because every individual learns differently. I always aim to provide engaging and interesting lessons and get the best out of students of all ability levels, working on the confidence of the student as well as the knowledge itself and exam approach. Maths is a challenging subject so keeping things simple and working step by step helps the student click things into place. Having been homeschooled for part of my early education puts me in a unique position to understand the difficulties many students are currently facing, both in learning at home and returning to school after a long break. Furthermore, being disabled myself, I am in a strong position to understand the needs of chronically ill and disabled students. I am available to tutor both online and at my home, and have a current enhanced DBS certificate.
